Creating various Cheers to keep the positive motivation Flowing!

It's really funny how I go through the day, lately, and all I can think about, in the back of my mind, is creating a different cheer for the class.  For example, I have my traditional 10 finger 'WHOOO' the roller coaster cheer, finally the trucker cheer.  Last year we would change these up a bit as we went through the day.  I love the idea that I just read on the website, where the person receiving the cheer puts their hand to their heart, as they receive the cheer.  I will definitely incorporate that!  I may have gone a little over the top But..... I thought up the following:

LIGHTENING BOLT~Booya!  Whip your hand forward and snap it back quickly saying: BOOYA!
BACK BONE SLIP 10 FINGER DIP~snake your upper vertebrae from top to tail and throw ten fingers out and shout"ta-da!"
4 STACK WE ARE BACK~ With their partner they take turns alternating hands and shout the title" 4 stack we are back" Students should pull away from one another by the word"BACK"
TOMAHAWK SQUAWK~ Students wave their invisible tomahawk, at the star student, as they squawk!!  Really fun while studying the Indians!

I am interested from hearing from other teachers!

Thanks!!

Eager to Get Started

My school year for 2011/2012 is nearly hear.  I am very excited to start the WBT methods with my new class.  I will begin on August 8th and I have already been brainstorming ways to set the classroom.  I currently read the classroom model e-book located on the homepage.  It was very helpful!  I am also excited that I downloaded all of the power pics for third grade standards.    I know that I will keep the background colors or the butcher paper blue for Language Arts and Red for Mathematics.
